The Instant Messengers were featured on the cover of a little newspaper you might of heard of called the SF Chronicle wearing Hater Blockers and select tops pieces from the Free Gold Watch Winter collection.

Magic Trade Show (Las Vegas) is upon us again. This means that the Free Gold Watch print shop is running overtime to get all the new samples done to show the world’s top buyers & press. This year FGW together with Vice & Ice Cream Man, are hosting an after-party at Beauty Bar Las Vegas on Tuesday August 26th, 2008. Vice Records band, Japanese Motors, headlines the event. FGW djs Vin Sol & 86ed Supra are providing music to make you dance.  Free Asahi beer from 10 - 11pm.

We recently had photographer Rony Alwin from Rony’s Photobooth came up the the bay to shoot our Winter 2009 catalog that we are getting together for the upcoming Pool Trade Show. Pool runs as part of the ever growing Magic Trade Show held twice annually in Las Vegas. The full collection & catalog will be available online soon.

For the next few Saturday, Free Gold Watch will be doing a garage sale out of the FGW warehouse located on the corners of Stanyan & Waller in San Fransisco. You will find everything from garbage pail kids, old kicks, fine films, discontinued FGW samples and lots of junk treasure.

As you may know, Free Gold Watch will be releasing new product every Tuesday. Last we we debuted the limited edition Hater Blockers unisex sunglasses. In celebration of yesterdays international Friendship Day, FGW will be releasing two different designs tomorrow including the ‘Best Friends’ t-shirt combo pack.

Free Gold Watch and The Instant Messengers have been working together for the past few years now on all things merch related. Some of the design and all of the printing is done by FGW plus the IM bring out FGW merchandise to sell on their tour dates. The Instant Messengers just finished a video for ‘iHuman’ a track from their ‘Slammers’ ep that hits iTunes on August 5th, 2008.
